Dr Felicita Omari is a compassionate psychiatrist at the Melbourne Mental Health Clinic, dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care, diagnosis, and treatment of complex psychiatric illnesses.
She brings more than 10 years of clinical expertise to her practice, backed by an elite international academic background. Dr Omari holds a master’s degree in Psychiatry from Moi University (Kenya) and completed a prestigious fellowship in neuropsychiatric genetic research at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health (USA).
She is also a formal Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP). An active researcher, her work on the impact of care environments on the mental health of orphaned and separated children has been published in the British Medical Journal – Global Health among other leading publications.
Outside of her clinical and research duties, Felicita is a gardening enthusiast who loves walking the trails of Northeast Victoria. A proud resident of the Rural City of Wangaratta, she also enjoys embarking on local social activities and events
