Dr Litza Kiropoulos is a senior clinical psychologist and an Associate Professor in Clinical Psychology at the University of Melbourne.


Dr Kiropoulous has trained in cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) including schema therapy, and mindfulness and emotion regulation-based treatments

Treatment Philosophy


Dr Kiropoulous has over 25 years of clinical experience in private and public hospital, acute, subacute and outpatient settings.

She is recognised internationally for her research in depression and anxiety in multiple sclerosis and has published extensively in this area. She is currently conducting clinical trials to examine the effectiveness of tailored depression interventions targeting individuals with multiple sclerosis.

Dr Kiropoulous has extensive experience teaching, training and supervising clinical psychology students and registrars in various university, hospital and clinic settings. She also provides supervision to clinical psychologists.
