DR SREEKUTTY K SIVAN (Click for telehealth link)

Dr Sreekutty Sivan is a consultant psychiatrist with experience working across public and private telehealth settings. She holds fellowship with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP).

Dr Sivan adopts a holistic, person-centred, collaborative and recovery focused approach, empowering individuals and their support network in managing mental health issues. She has a particular interest in mood and anxiety disorders, PTSD, complex trauma, ADHD, trans cultural psychiatry, psychodynamic therapy, CBT, DBT and Mindfulness based therapies.

Her approach is welcoming, respectful, trauma informed, culturally sensitive and inclusive of clients from all backgrounds. Dr Sivan is fluent in English and Malayalam. She is committed to helping individuals in their journey of recovery towards stability, development of resilient strategies for the long term and improving quality of life.

Started as a Resident medical officer in Darwin in 2017, Started RANZCP training in Darwin in 2020, spent 2.5 years there, then moved to Gold Coast for the rest of the training. All of the training is completed within the public mental health system. Completed fellowship in early 2025. Currently working in part time capacity in a private telehealth clinic mainly catering ADHD assessment and management.
